Matt is a Principal in the HYCAP investment team, focused on originating and structuring investments and partnerships across the hydrogen value chain.

Matt brings over 15 years of experience of M&A and debt structuring within the energy industry working for SSE Renewables, KPMG, EDF and, most recently, Glennmont Partners, a top tier, pan European, renewable energy private equity fund. He has considerable buy-side and sell-side experience covering the on- and off-shore wind, energy storage, biomass and new nuclear sectors. Prior to that he was an Economist for the UK Civil Service.

Matt holds an MBA with distinction from the University of Oxford and an MSc, Business Economics from the University of Manchester.
