Charles is a Vice President in the HYCAP investment team, responsible for the origination of investment opportunities, execution of transactions and management of the portfolio post-close.

Charles has over 9 years of experience of M&A, transactional structuring, strategy and deal advisory within the energy and technology industries. Charles has completed transactions across both the buy-side and sell-side covering equity and debt financing from venture through to infrastructure. Charles previously worked for PwC where he advised on transactions in the technology sector, focused on start-up and early-stage businesses in the cleantech space.

Charles is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and holds an MSc in Finance, Accounting and Business from Warwick Business School and a BSc in Biomedical Science from the University of Warwick.
