Toby is Head of Fund Distribution for HYCAP and brings over 10 years experience in sourcing and executing investments into venture capital and growth equity stage private companies.

He has worked as a Senior Advisor to the UK Government on venture capital and international inward investment with the Department for International Trade. Here, he also held the position of Head of Investor Relations for the Middle East and India, supporting Sovereign Wealth Funds through to Single Family Offices, covering private and institutional investor needs with a predominant focus on clean technology investments. He spent 5 years with QVentures as an Investment Director, a highly vetted and curated membership network of global UHNWIs and Family Office investors, CVC’s and VC funds. Toby also worked in corporate finance before, taking on the role of Investment Manager for UHNWIs across the globe specialising in the facilitation of foreign direct investment into small UK businesses.

Toby holds a BA Hons, Business Management Degree from Newcastle University and a CISI Level 3 Certificate in Securities and Financial Regulation.
